Accelerated bachelor's to master's programs

VCU offers a number of accelerated bachelor’s-to-master’s degree programs that allow academically talented undergraduate students to earn both degrees in a minimum of five years by taking approved graduate-level courses during the senior year of their undergraduate program.

Entrance to the accelerated program

Interested undergraduate students should consult with their adviser as early as possible to receive specific information about the accelerated program, determine academic eligibility, and complete the Accelerated Declaration Form

Admission to the graduate program

Submit a Graduate Admissions application no later than a semester prior to graduation with the baccalaureate degree.
