VCU offers a number of accelerated bachelor’s-to-master’s degree programs that allow academically talented undergraduate students to earn both degrees in a minimum of five years by taking approved graduate-level courses during the senior year of their undergraduate program.

How do accelerated programs work?
Choose your program from the list below. Not sure which program is right for you? Visit the VCU Bulletin for more information about the accelerated bachelor's to master's programs, talk to an academic advisor, or connect with the school/college for assistance.
Interested undergraduate students should consult with their adviser as early as possible to receive specific information about the accelerated program, determine academic eligibility, and complete the Accelerated Declaration Form. Minimum qualifications for entrance into an accelerated program can vary. Students should talk with their academic advisor to ensure they are on track to qualify for the accelerated program. A maximum of 12 credits earned as an undergraduate may be applied to your graduate degree.
Submit a Graduate Admissions application no later than a semester prior to graduation with the baccalaureate degree.
